My Approach
In developing the Multidisciplinary Project, I adopted a user-centered design strategy, focusing on creating a platform that meets the diverse needs of a private educational institution. As the project manager, I led a team in leveraging Django and React to build a robust, scalable, and modern web application tailored to streamline school management processes.
Vision and Innovation
Our vision for the Athénée Salmi project was to revolutionize school administration through a comprehensive web-based solution. The application is designed to enhance efficiency in managing teachers, students, grades, attendance, and events—ultimately making education management more seamless, transparent, and accessible.
Identifying Unique Challenges
Educational institutions often struggle with:
Coordinating multiple administrative tasks across departments
Maintaining accurate records
Providing real-time updates for staff and parents
One of our major challenges was integrating all of these functions into a single, user-friendly platform without compromising on performance or usability.
Solving Complex Problems
To meet these challenges, we developed a modular system using Django and React. Key features include:
Teacher and Student Management: Centralized tools for organizing staff schedules, student profiles, and contact details
Grade and Attendance Tracking: Real-time updates, automated calculations, and visual reports
Event Scheduling: An integrated calendar with notification support for upcoming school activities
Each module works cohesively within a unified dashboard, enabling customizable views and real-time control for school administrators and educators.
User-Centered Design
Usability was a top priority. We designed the interface to be:

The Athénée Salmi Multidisciplinary Project represents a major step forward in educational technology. By combining the strengths of Django’s back-end capabilities and React’s dynamic front-end, we delivered a solution that is not only powerful and efficient but also user-focused and easy to use.
